I do not take it lightly that you're considering Cakes + Co. to be a part of your big day. Wedding cakes are truly the biggest honor and the most rewarding part of my job. I specialize in delicious, design-oriented, highly custom cakes (yes, even for the "I don't like cake" friends out there). All of my wedding cakes are unique and made from scratch, just for you. Whether you prefer I take the design and run with it, or want to talk through details (down to the buttercream texture and shade of ivory), I'm here for you. Let's design the cake of your dreams! 


  • How do tastings work? I offer four tasting rounds per year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). If you are a potential client these are complimentary! I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to be added to the list so I can let you (or your planner) know when the tasting date is announced. You select flavors from the offered options and I provide dates/times/address for you to pick up. If you are coming in from out of town (or other circumstances do not allow you to participate in the scheduled tasting rounds) I completely understand and will do what I can do accommodate a separate tasting box just for you. 

  • How does the booking process work? Go through the "inquire now" page on my website, or contact me directly via email. We will go from there to discuss in depth pricing, design, etc. We can pick a date for your tasting, and secure your flavor choice. Then I will send contract and payment options to lock in your date. 

  • What is your wedding cake pricing? Tiered wedding cakes start at $7 per serving and sheet cakes start at $5 per serving. Prices increase based on flavor upgrades, fillings, toppings, custom designs, etc. Each wedding cake will be priced individually, as all cakes are custom.

  • Do you make shorter cakes instead of the tall tiers? I make cakes that are taller than traditional designs. Tiers are usually 6-8" tall and slices can be cut in half to maximize servings. 

  • How many should my cake serve based on guest count? I recommend planning to serve 80% of your expected guest count (if serving cake as the only dessert option). Not all guests will want cake, and some will share. Other options include: serving only the wedding party/family, serving some of your guest count and serving another dessert option. We can collaborate to find the right fit for you!

  • What are your most popular wedding cake flavors? The most popular flavors I make for wedding cakes are almond, vanilla, and funfetti.
